Kishan Reddy Criticizes D-JAC Meeting, Calls It Political Propaganda

Union Minister for Coal and Mines and Telangana BJP Chief G Kishan Reddy has criticized the Delimitation-Joint Action Committee (D-JAC) meeting. He called it a coalition formed by a family-run and incompetent party, accusing it of spreading false propaganda for political gain.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Kishan Reddy stated that the D-JAC is trying to stir emotions by claiming that the South is being treated unfairly. He accused Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin’s DMK government of using these claims to divert attention from the strong anti-incumbency sentiment in the state. He alleged that since the DMK has failed to fulfill past promises, it is now resorting to spreading misinformation on regional and language issues.

The Union Minister clarified that any decision on delimitation requires discussions with intellectuals and State governments. He emphasized that, so far, there has been no deliberation in Parliament or the Cabinet on this issue. He accused the Congress, DMK, and BRS of deliberately misleading people as part of a political conspiracy to weaken the BJP in southern states. He pointed out that the census has not even begun, and the Central government has not made any decisions regarding delimitation. Despite this, he claimed that opposition parties are falsely alleging injustice to the South.

Kishan Reddy strongly condemned the statements made by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and BRS leader KT Rama Rao at the D-JAC meeting. He dismissed their allegations as baseless and advised Revanth Reddy to focus on fulfilling the promises he made to the people before the elections.

Further, he stated that the participation of Congress and BRS in the D-JAC meeting revealed their true intentions. He accused them of joining forces against the BJP and the Central government to create unnecessary controversies.

Expressing confidence in the BJP’s future, Kishan Reddy asserted that the party will win the upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka and Telangana and strengthen its presence in Tamil Nadu.

He urged the people of the South and the Telugu community to reject the false propaganda spread by the D-JAC parties. He reassured that the Central government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to ensuring fair treatment for all regions.
