Gadwal Police Committed to Public-Friendly Services
The Gadwal police department is dedicated to ensuring that people can access police services without fear or interference from third parties. District SP Mr. T. Srinivas Rao IPS emphasized that the department aims to provide transparent and accessible services while resolving complaints in accordance with the law.
As part of the weekly “Praja Vani” program, the District SP received seven complaints from residents of Gadwal, Alampur, and Shanti Nagar. Circle Inspectors (CIs) from the respective areas were present during the session. The SP reviewed the actions taken on previous complaints and instructed Sub-Inspectors (SIs) to address the issues promptly and legally. He also provided guidance to the Circle Inspectors on handling the matters effectively.
The SP highlighted the importance of the public being able to approach the police directly, without fear of exploitation or middlemen. He assured that the police would continue to work diligently to maintain law and order, while also focusing on community outreach and awareness programs.
To address public grievances efficiently, the SP reiterated that complaints would be directly received during the “Praja Vani” program every Monday. He assured that each issue would be resolved swiftly and appropriately.
Among the complaints received today, four were about land disputes, one involved plot encroachment, and two related to other issues. The SP directed the concerned Circle Inspectors and their teams to take necessary actions to resolve these grievances.
Recognition for Outstanding Police Service
On the occasion of Republic Day 2024, the state government honored nine officers from Gadwal district with Excellence and Outstanding Service Medals. During the celebrations, District SP Mr. T. Srinivas Rao IPS presented medals to eight officers. Today, he awarded a Service Medal to Alampur Circle Inspector Mr. Ravi Babu at his office.
Additionally, Certificates of Appreciation were given to Shanti Nagar Circle Inspector Mr. Tata Babu and Alampur Circle Inspector Mr. G. Ravi Babu for their exemplary service during the Republic Day festivities.
The event was attended by DSP Mr. Y. Mogilayya and other dignitaries, reflecting the police department’s commitment to recognizing and encouraging excellence within its ranks.
