Gadwal: Mrs. Ganta Kavitha Devi, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, made an unannounced visit to the Government High School in Burada Peta, Gadwal town.
During her inspection, she checked the mid-day meal program to ensure that students were receiving meals according to the prescribed menu. She also walked around the school premises and spoke to the students to understand their concerns and challenges.
The inspection uncovered some serious issues. The school lacked proper restroom facilities for students, which was a major concern. Additionally, an unsafe electrical transformer located within the school compound posed a safety risk, alarming both parents and local residents.
Mrs. Kavitha Devi assured everyone that she would recommend solutions to the relevant authorities to resolve these problems. She also encouraged the school to submit a formal report outlining their issues to the District Legal Services Authority for further action.
