District Collector Ila Tripathi conducted a surprise inspection of the district hospital in Mulugu on Friday. She emphasized the need for improved medical services in the government hospital. During her inspection, she examined the Casualty, Post Operative Ward, Emergency Casualty, general ward, and the hospital surroundings. She also inquired about the number of cases received and discharged, as well as any details regarding specific diseases.
The Collector also inquired about the medical services provided to the patients. She asked about the admission process, the examinations conducted by doctors, the services offered, and the meals provided. Tripathi stressed the importance of testing patients with symptoms for dengue and urged the duty medical staff to fulfill their responsibilities and provide better services to the patients.
Furthermore, the Collector advised the medical staff to educate visitors about the services and facilities available at government hospitals. This includes informing them about the services provided to patients and the facilities provided by the government.
During the inspection, Superintendent Dr. Jagdeeswar, Ophthalmologist Dr. Praveen, Orthopedician Dr. Sri Paul, General Medical Specialist Dr. Satish, Respiratory Medicine Specialist Dr. Sudhir, Gynecologist G. Raghu, and other officials were present.
