On Friday, a new Coding School was inaugurated at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Gopalpet mandal. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Newton School of Technology, was launched by Additional Collector of Local Bodies, Sanchit Gangwar. This program is specifically designed for class 9 students of KGBV, providing them with an opportunity to learn Python coding. To facilitate the learning process, computers and a digital board were installed in the classroom.

The Collector explained that the Python coding course will be taught online over three months. He encouraged students to actively participate in live sessions, ask questions, and clarify any doubts with the trainers. He stressed that gaining technical knowledge at an early age would benefit them in the future.

The Collector urged all students to take full advantage of this opportunity. At the end of the course, students who perform well will receive certification. Additionally, those who excel in the program may receive internship opportunities to further develop their skills.

During his visit, the Collector also inspected the school’s cooking utensils storage area. He checked the quality of the utensils and instructed that when new utensils are delivered, they should be unloaded in the presence of students and documented in the school’s registers. He advised the students and staff to ensure that meals are prepared tastily and served only after being tasted by supervisors.

The event was attended by DEO Abdul Gani, District Agriculture Officer Govinda Nayak, DGCO Subhalakshmi, Tahsildar Tilak Reddy, MPDO, MEO, and several other officers, staff, and participants.
