Disability Support Camp for Children Scheduled for August 12, Announces DEO Govindarajulu

NagarKurnool: A camp to help children with disabilities will be held on August 12. The camp will take place from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Bhavitha Center, which is opposite the bus stand in the district center.

This camp is organized by Samagra Shiksha Telangana and the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation. It aims to provide aid for children with disabilities who are under 18 years old and studying in government schools in the district.

Children attending the camp need to bring certain documents. They should have two passport-sized photographs that show their disability. They also need a disability certificate from the state government indicating more than 40% disability, and either a Unique Disability ID card or the application receipt. If they don’t have these, they need a disability certificate from a government doctor, an Aadhaar card, and an income certificate or ration card.

The DEO, Govindarajulu, asked that eligible students arrive by 10 AM. Doctors will examine the students, identify what aids they need, make the aids, and give them out for free at another camp. For more information, people can contact the District Inclusive Education Coordinator, Venkataiah, at 9491868855.
