Dhenkanal unveils new Augmented Reality Zone

The Augmented Reality Zone at Dhenkanal Science Centre was inaugurated by Collector Saroj Kumar Sethi. The centre, supported by the National Council of Science Museum under the Ministry of Culture, aims to provide the latest applications of science and technology in an entertaining way.

During the inauguration, Sethi addressed the students and teachers, emphasizing the usefulness of the Augmented Reality Zone for school and college students. He mentioned that Artificial Intelligence is rapidly advancing in all fields, making it important for students to stay updated.

District Science Officer M M Rout provided a briefing on the Augmented Reality Zone and its applications to the Collector and students. It is worth noting that Odisha only has two science centres, located in Bhubaneswar and Dhenkanal, both under the Ministry of Culture.
