The MLA highlighted that the number of students in government schools is decreasing. He attributed this decline to the negligence of teachers and the absence of proper teaching standards. He emphasized the importance of improving the quality of education to attract more students to public schools.

Satyanarayana also stressed the need to provide mid-day meals to students according to the prescribed menu. He instructed the Education Department to take strict action against teachers who are not performing their duties responsibly.

Looking ahead, the MLA urged officials to work on increasing student enrollment in government schools for the next academic year. He called for efforts to transform these schools into model institutions and to raise awareness among parents about the benefits of enrolling their children in public schools.

The meeting was attended by District Education Officer Ashok Kumar, North and South Mandal MEOs, Education Planning Officers, and other staff members from the Education Department.
