Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Visits Nagarkurnool District

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka visited Nagarkurnool district on Sunday and took part in several developmental activities. He laid the foundation stone for a 33/11 KV substation in Pothireddypally village of Thimmajipet Mandal. Several prominent leaders, including Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, MP Mallu Ravi, and MLAs Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy, Chikkudu Vamsikrishna, Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, Megha Reddy, and MLC Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy, were present during the event.

Later, Bhatti Vikramarka inaugurated the Markandeya Lift Irrigation Project in Bijinapally Mandal, which aims to provide irrigation water to farmers. He also laid foundation stones for new 33/11 KV substations in Palem, Indrakal village of Thadur Mandal, and Sripuram village in Nagarkurnool Mandal.

Focus on Palamuru's Development

Speaking at the events, the Deputy CM emphasized the government’s commitment to making Palamuru district greener and more prosperous. He revealed that the government plans to invest ₹1 lakh crore over the next five years to achieve comprehensive development in the region. He assured the public that every drop of water from the Krishna River would be used effectively to provide drinking and irrigation water for the people.

Support for Farmers and Welfare Schemes

Bhatti Vikramarka announced several measures to support farmers. He stated that the investment support under the Rythu Bharosa Scheme would be increased from ₹10,000 to ₹12,000. Additionally, a new scheme, the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme, will begin on January 26, providing ₹12,000 annually to landless poor agricultural laborers.

The Deputy CM also mentioned that 200 units of free electricity are being provided to households under the Gruha Jyothi Scheme, with ₹12,000 crore allocated annually to the electricity department. Furthermore, the government is covering the cost of crop loss compensation and crop insurance premiums for farmers.

Empowering Women

For women’s financial independence, Bhatti Vikramarka announced a plan to provide interest-free loans worth ₹1 lakh crore over the next five years. He also highlighted the government’s initiative to involve women in solar power production, aiming for 10 megawatts of solar electricity generation to ensure their financial stability.

Commitment to Progress

The Deputy CM concluded his visit by assuring the people of Palamuru district that the government is determined to develop the region in all sectors over the next five years. He promised to fulfill the aspirations of the people and ensure sustainable progress in agriculture, infrastructure, and other key areas.
