District Election Officer (DEO) and Collector Shashanka held a meeting with Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) and nodal officers at the district office building. During the meeting, Shashanka highlighted the need for responsible behavior from all stakeholders involved in the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
He emphasized the importance of executing assigned duties with dedication and accountability, as well as resolving complaints received through the C-Whistle platform promptly. Additionally, he instructed the teams to provide necessary infrastructure at training centers and track attendance using QR codes for training sessions.
To increase voter awareness, sweep programs were proposed to educate the public. Community Development Officers (CDOs) were assigned the task of identifying elderly individuals and disabled persons in the district. Shashanka also stressed the need to report transactions exceeding Rs one lakh for transparency purposes.
The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Pratima Singh, District Revenue Officer Sangeeta, election superintendent Saidulu, and other officials.
