Senior Congress leader Madhu Yashki Goud believes that recent praise for BRS leader T Harish Rao by Union Minister Bandi Sanjay is a result of ongoing negotiations between BRS and BJP. This comes after top leaders from the pink party visited Delhi.

Madhu Yashki stated that efforts were being made by the family of former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao to secure the release of MLC K Kavitha, even if it means merging BRS into BJP. Negotiations took place in Delhi recently, with former Ministers KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao discussing the feasibility of such a move. Bandi Sanjay’s praise for Harish Rao on Sunday was seen as a reflection of these discussions.

Yashki revealed that while KCR was in favor of the merger, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy opposed it. Bandi, however, supported the idea and welcomed Harish Rao into BJP after his resignation as MLA.

Regarding the appointment of the next PCC president, Yashki denied discussions with AICC leaders in Delhi. Instead, talks focused on Cabinet expansion in Telangana and portfolio allocations. Grievances over current portfolios were also raised by existing Ministers.

Yashki clarified that decisions regarding nominated posts were made by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, along with Ministers D Sridhar Babu and N Uttam Kumar Reddy. He mentioned that recent joinings from BRS had the approval of the party’s High Command.
