Delhi Capitals secured their place in the final of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 after beating UP Warriorz by five wickets with 13 balls to spare. Alice Capsey played a crucial all-rounder role, claiming 3-26 off her four overs and scoring 34 off 31 balls. UP Warriorz posted 138/6, thanks to a 32-ball 58 from Tahlia McGrath after Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to field. Delhi Capitals finished on top of the table with 12 points from six wins out of eight matches, tied with Mumbai Indians but with a better net run rate of +1.856. The winner of the Eliminator between Mumbai Indians and UP Warriorz will face Delhi Capitals in the final.
