Nirmal: DEET App to Help Unemployed Find Jobs in Private Sector
Nirmal District Collector, Abhilasha Abhinav, emphasized the importance of the DEET app in helping unemployed individuals secure jobs in the private sector. She shared this during a meeting held on Saturday evening with members of the Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET) District Committee and the Additional Collector of Local Bodies. The meeting took place in the conference hall of the Collectorate.
The Collector encouraged officials to motivate college students to register on the DEET app, which was developed by the state government to assist unemployed youth. She urged the officials to create widespread awareness about the app, explaining that individuals can upload their educational qualifications on the platform. This allows private companies and industries to identify and hire suitable candidates for their job openings.
Additionally, the Collector addressed concerns about district residents who may have traveled to other countries for employment through unauthorized agents. She advised their family members to visit the Labour Department office at the District Collectorate office complex between January 19 and 26. They are required to bring their Aadhaar cards and register the details of their relatives.
The DEET app initiative aims to provide better job opportunities while ensuring safer employment processes for residents of the district.
