District Collector Venkatesh Dhotre has asked officials to speed up the construction of model Indiramma houses in the district.
On Tuesday, he visited a construction site in Kagaznagar town. He was accompanied by Additional District Collector (Local Bodies) Deepak Tiwari and Sub-Collector Shraddha Shukla.
During the visit, the Collector instructed officials to complete the work on time. He stressed that the Indiramma housing scheme, launched by the government to provide homes for underprivileged families, should benefit those in need. He urged officials to work together for its successful implementation.
He also directed officials to closely monitor construction progress and ensure that quality standards are maintained.
Later, the Collector made a surprise visit to the Tahsildar’s office. There, he checked registers and official records.
