Gadwal: District Collector B.M. Santosh has instructed officials to strictly implement the Swachhata – Pachhata program, which the state government has started. This program will run for five days starting from August 5.
As part of this initiative, the Collector kicked off a rally on Monday from the local municipal office. During the event, he highlighted the importance of the program, which focuses on improving cleanliness and greenery in the area.
The Collector visited an ancient well at the municipal office and suggested removing wild plants and planting attractive saplings. He also recommended painting the surrounding walls with colorful and beautiful designs.
In addition to these activities, the Collector and other officials planted saplings in the local urban nature park. He emphasized the importance of taking care of the newly planted saplings to ensure their growth.
Additional Collector Narsing Rao, ZP CEO Kanthamma, Municipal Commissioner Dasharath, Handloom and Textile Officer Govindayya, and municipal staff also participated in the program.
