D Srinivas, a prominent political figure and former TRS Rajya Sabha MP, is poised to rejoin the Congress party. Srinivas has played a crucial role in bringing Congress back into power in both 2004 and 2009. His son, D Arvind, currently holds the position of BJP MP from Nizamabad. Upon joining the Congress party, Srinivas will participate in the ongoing ‘Satyagraha’ protest against Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from Lok Sabha. Srinivas expressed his unwavering support for Rahul Gandhi, stating that he is his leader, and that his eligibility as an MP cannot be questioned given the sacrifices made by his family and their experience. Speaking to the media, Srinivas announced his decision to join the Congress party and expressed his intention to be an active participant in their ongoing protest.
