People who want to sell firecrackers during the Deepavali Festival in areas under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate can get a temporary license. This license will be issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the concerned zones. The license is issued under the Explosives Act of 1884 and the Rules of 1983, with changes made in 2008. Breaking the law can lead to punishment and other legal actions.
To get the temporary license, applicants must manually submit their application using Form AE-5 of the Explosives Rules. The last date to apply is October 24, 2024. Applications sent after this date will not be accepted.
Applicants must include the following documents with their application form:
– No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Fire Services Department or the Divisional Fire Officer.
– Land permission from GHMC authorities if the land belongs to the government.
– NOC or agreement from the landowner if it’s private land.
– A copy of the license from the previous year, if applicable (optional).
– NOC from neighbors if the shop is in a permanent structure.
– A site plan of the shop (blueprint).
– The original fee receipt for Rs. 600, paid at the State Bank of India, Gruhakalpa branch. The payment should be made under the following Head of Accounts:

If any of the required documents are missing, the application will be rejected.
