Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police recently celebrated Police Commemoration Week 2024 by organising an essay writing competition for police personnel and college students. As part of the event, Commissioner Avinash Mohanty and Joint Commissioner D Joel Davis distributed prizes to the winners.
In total, 21 participants were recognised for their outstanding essays. Among the winners were six police officers and 15 college students, all of whom were awarded prizes for their efforts.
The competition featured different essay topics tailored to each group to encourage meaningful participation. Police officers ranked SI and above wrote on the topic, “Sound Mind in a Sound Body.” Constables to ASI officers were assigned the theme, “How Can I Improve the Police Image in Society?” Meanwhile, junior and degree college students explored topics such as “Advantages and Disadvantages of Mobile Phones” and “Drug Abuse in Society.”
The event was graced by several officials from the Women and Children Safety Wing (W&CSW), including DCP Srujana Karnam, ACP Prasanna Kumar, and other officers, who showed their support for the initiative.
