Cyberabad Police Collaborate with SCSC for Interactive Meeting with IT/ITES Companies

The Cyberabad police and the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) organized a meeting for professionals from 30 IT/ITES companies in Cyberabad to discuss cyber crimes, traffic, and women’s safety. They encouraged companies to nominate their information security professionals for the chief information security officers’ (CISO) council or participate in the center of excellence (CoE).

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty, Cyberabad Joint CP D Joel Davis, and Ramesh Kaza from SCSC led the session. They highlighted the expanded capacity of the Centre Of Excellence for Cyber Safety – TSPCC and urged IT parks to deploy security marshals for traffic control due to increasing traffic in the area.

The meeting aimed to gather feedback from the industry on SCSC’s performance, identify areas for improvement, and explore new initiatives to support the IT industry’s growth in Hyderabad. Companies were also asked to share their town hall meeting dates for traffic police and SCSC to raise awareness about traffic rules and women’s safety.

Participants praised SCSC for its collaboration with Cyberabad Police in addressing issues like traffic management, cyber crimes, and women’s safety. They noted the positive impact of such partnerships in Hyderabad compared to other cities lacking similar organizations.
