Customs officials at the international airport in Hyderabad seized over two kilograms of heroin worth Rs 14.2 crore from a woman passenger from the Republic of Burundi. The woman, who is 43 years old, was identified and intercepted based on passenger profiling. She arrived on a flight from Nairobi, Kenya on July 2.
Upon examination of her baggage, customs officials noticed that eight traditional African dresses, one handbag, and three soaps seemed heavier than normal.
