Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for an extended meeting with NDA allies on July 18. The meeting will also include those who had previously left the NDA.
Akali Dal, which had recently left the NDA in opposition to the farm laws before the Punjab Assembly elections, has been invited to attend the meeting. They have decided to accept the invitation and rejoin the NDA. However, it is unclear if the NDA will invite their former ally, TDP, or the Jana Sena party, which is in alliance with BJP in Andhra Pradesh.
It is important to note that this NDA meeting will take place on the same day that opposition parties will gather in Bengaluru for a separate meeting.
