CPSTEA State Executive President Kamalakar Nageshwar Rao has urged the government to abolish the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and bring back the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). He reminded the government that this change was promised in the election manifesto.

Nageshwar Rao emphasized that September 1, the day when CPS was first implemented, will be observed as a day of protest. He called for justice for nearly two lakh teachers and employees by restoring the old pension system.
