The Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council, Gutha Sukender Reddy, has stated that the recent question paper leak incident at the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) was caused by the mistake of two individuals and not the entire government. He added that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had always wanted the TSPSC to operate transparently and that there had been no previous incidents of paper leaks in the last nine years. Reddy expressed sympathy for unemployed youth who would have to retake exams due to the cancellation of previous examinations. He also stated that it was unfair for opposition parties to blame IT Minister KT Rama Rao for the incident as he was not involved. Reddy called for Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to clear pending Bills in a timely manner, as delays were having a negative impact on recruitment drives. The Governor has requested a status report on the TSPSC question paper leak case within 48 hours.
