The Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) is urging its customers in Greater Hyderabad to report any power outages caused by kite flying during the Sankranti festivities. Customers can register their complaints through toll-free and call center numbers, the mobile app, and social media platforms.
To report a complaint, customers can contact the electricity trouble call center at 1912 or reach out through Twitter (@tsspdclcorporat), Facebook (gmcsc.tsspdcl), the TSSPDCL website (www.tssouthernpower.com), the TSSPDCL mobile app, or by dialing 100.
The Electricity department has also set up 24-hour control rooms for specific areas. Residents in Hyderabad Central areas such as Hyderguda, Himayathnagar, Red Hills, Mehdipatnam, and others can contact 9491629047. For Hyderabad South areas like Begum Bazar, Troop Bazar, Abids, and Charminar, the number to call is 9491628269. Secunderabad areas have a different contact number, which is 9491629380. Banjara Hills zone residents can reach out at 9491633294. Cyber City areas have a dedicated contact number at 9493193149. Rajendranagar zone residents can contact 7382100322, while Saroornagar zone residents can reach out at 7901679095. TSSPDCL CMD Musharraf Faruqui conducted a review meeting with GHMC area’s chief general managers and superintending engineers. He instructed all staff and officers to be available around the clock to address any electricity emergencies promptly.
