Continued Rainfall Expected in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on July 24 due to Low Pressure

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for several districts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They are predicting that another low-pressure system will form on the 24th of this month, which will cause continuous rainfall for the next five days. Specifically, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Sangareddy, and Medak will experience heavy rains.

These heavy rains have already caused disruptions. Many villages are experiencing traffic standstills due to overflowing floodwaters on low-level bridges. Rivers are overflowing, and there is tension at various irrigation projects due to the large volume of floodwater.
