Congress steals BJP's thunder in Hyderabad by chanting Ram, Ram

The Telangana Congress is trying to appeal to voters by using the name of Lord Ram during the Sri Rama Navami festival. Congress candidates in the Lok Sabha elections are chanting ‘Jai Sriram’ and using Lord Ram’s name in their social media campaigns to show their devotion to Hinduism and counter the BJP.

Some Congress candidates are praising Lord Ram as a symbol of ideals and a guide for implementing promises to bring about ‘Ram Raj’ in Telangana. They are also trying to compete with the BJP’s distribution of Ayodhya Ram‘s ‘talambralu’ by using Lord Ram in their posts.

Despite the BJP’s aggressive campaigning, the Congress’s new strategy has caught the public’s attention. Candidates like N Vamshi Chand Reddy and Mallu Ravi are attending pujas at Ram temples and posting videos on social media to show their commitment to Hinduism.

In Mahbubnagar and Nagarkurnool, where BJP candidates are strong and the RSS is campaigning vigorously, Congress is facing tough competition. Candidates like Ch Kiran Kumar Reddy and B Narasiah Goud are also visiting temples to appeal to voters during the festival.

Overall, Congress sees BJP as a formidable opponent in many Lok Sabha segments, and is using Lord Ram’s name to try and gain support from Hindu voters.
