Parkal MLA and Congress Warangal Lok Sabha in-charge Revuri Prakash Reddy, along with Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari, met with CPI State Secretariat member Takkalapally Srinivas Rao and other party leaders in Hanumakonda. They discussed the need to end the BJP’s rule and the importance of support from allies like CPI in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Revuri criticized the Narendra Modi government for favoring corporate houses over the people and promoting division among communities. He highlighted increased attacks on minorities and Dalits, as well as the suppression of dissenting voices through agencies like the Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax, and CBI.
The focus of the meeting was to seek CPI’s support for Kadiyam Kavya, daughter of MLA Kadiyam Srihari, as a candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat. Revuri also criticized MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga for supporting the BJP and accused the BRS of collaborating with the BJP to target the Congress.
Additionally, Revuri mentioned concerns about the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project and criticized KCR for its handling. Takkalapally Srinivas Rao reiterated CPI’s goal of defeating the BJP and its allies, emphasizing the importance of the INDIA Bloc’s success in the Lok Sabha elections for fulfilling promises like the Bayyaram steel plant and rail coach factory.
Senior leaders like B Vijaya Saradhi, N Jyothy, Ch Raja Reddy, Karre Bikshapathi, and Mekala Ravi were also present at the meeting.
