The protests began with a symbolic march starting at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund and ending at the Hyderabad Collectorate. The event was led by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Mahesh Goud. The march saw active participation from Congress members and followers of Dr. Ambedkar.

During the demonstration, Congress leaders handed over memoranda to the Hyderabad Collector. They highlighted the seriousness of Amit Shah’s remarks, stating that such comments could damage the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar, who is celebrated as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a pioneer of social justice.

Addressing the media, TPCC Chief Mahesh Goud said, “Dr. Ambedkar is a respected national figure, and any effort to tarnish his image will not be accepted. The Union Minister must face consequences for his statements.”

The protest concluded peacefully. Congress leaders reaffirmed their demand for Amit Shah’s dismissal from the Cabinet, emphasizing the need to protect the dignity of national icons like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
