Congress leads BRS in State according to ABP-C pre-poll survey

The ABP-C pre-poll voter survey shows that the Indian National Congress party (INC) has a slight advantage in Telangana. According to the survey, the INC may win 48-60 seats in the Assembly elections in November, but they may face tough competition from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), led by K Chandrashekar Rao, which may win 43-55 seats. The survey also predicts that the BJP may win 5-11 seats. Despite the efforts of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP is not expected to make significant gains in vote share or seats.

Another survey by Lok Poll also placed the INC in the number one position with a moderate lead over BRS.

The Congress is projected to gain nearly 39% of the vote share, an increase of 10.5%, while the BRS is expected to have a decline of 9.4% vote share, reaching 37%.

Independent pollsters believe that Congress’s focus on the OBC and Micro OBC caste survey has contributed to their success in gaining support.

The Congress is expected to have a significant increase in vote share from the last elections, jumping from 28.3% to 38.8%, while BRS is projected to have a decrease of 9.4%, from 46.9% to 37.5%.

The BJP is also expected to see an increase in votes, reaching 16%, a rise of 9.3% from the last elections.

Overall, the survey suggests that the INC has a slight advantage over its competitors in Telangana’s Assembly elections.
