Congress leaders involved in scuffle with police after being denied entry with Chief Minister

A scuffle broke out between police and Congress workers during Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to Yadadri on Monday. The tensions started when Congress leaders and activists protested at the Yadadri hill during the Brahmotsavam festival. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and other Ministers for the visit to seek the blessings of Lord Laxmi Narasimha Swamy.

More than 150 party leaders and activists joined the visit, but chaos erupted when local Congress leaders were denied entry to Uttara Madha Street by the police due to protocol restrictions. This led to the Congress workers and leaders protesting against the police, expressing their frustration at being kept out of the temple despite the party being in power.

The police tried to explain that only those listed in the protocol could enter with the CM, but the situation turned into a scuffle. The Congress members continued to demand their right to enter the temple with the Chief Minister, leading to a heated confrontation.
