The Telangana Congress, inspired by their recent success in the State elections, is using an “Assembly strategy” to keep winning in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They are taking their time to carefully select candidates based on their potential for success, similar to how they chose winning candidates in the Assembly polls.
During the Assembly elections, the Congress party worked hard to finalize their candidate list and was the only party to announce their candidates after the election season to ensure victory. With tough competition from opposition parties like BRS and BJP, the party is searching for winning candidates in many segments.
TPCC president and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has already announced some candidates, including CWC special invitee N Vamshi Chand Reddy for the Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha seat. The party is conducting regular studies on each candidate’s winning prospects and will give tickets to those with the best chances of success based on survey reports.
Leaders like Ch Kiran Kumar Reddy and sitting MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy are also vying for party tickets in different Lok Sabha segments. Ticket aspirants from various areas are working hard to impress the party high command, but final decisions will only be made once the survey reports indicate a strong chance of winning.
The party is confident that their successful Assembly strategy will continue to work in the general elections, ensuring a winning streak for the Telangana Congress.
