Leaders from the Congress party have challenged Minister K T Rama Rao’s explanation of Pravallika’s alleged suicide. Pravallika had blamed her strained relationship with a boy as the reason for taking her own life. The Congress party questions the ruling BRS party and police for concluding that Pravallika’s death was not caused by the cancellation of the TSPSC Group II exams. They blame the State government and express doubts about the ongoing investigation.
During a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Dolly Sharma, Ali Mehdi, and other leaders from the Congress party showed Pravallika’s applications and hall ticket related to Group-II. They believe that Minister K T Rama Rao is lying to derail the investigation. They criticize the government for reaching a conclusion about Pravallika’s suicide without conducting a proper investigation into her death. M Sunitha Rao, State Mahila Congress president, criticizes the Kalvakuntla family for not understanding the pain of a woman.
Some leaders who visited Pravallika’s residence feel that under the BRS government, every common man is facing similar hardships. They believe that the government has failed to conduct competitive exams fairly, which is disgraceful. The leaders express their disappointment that the true purpose of Telangana has been lost since the BRS government took power.
