Out of the 12 seats in the erstwhile Nalgonda district, candidates have been finalized for six seats. The Communists are also hoping to be allotted one seat as part of the alliance. The CPM is expecting the Miryalaguda seat, while the CPI is insisting on the Munugodu seat. The decision on this matter is yet to be made by the Congress leadership.

Now that the candidates have been allotted their seats, they will need to work on gaining support from those who were also contending for the tickets. Efforts are also being made to reach a consensus on the Bhongir, Suryapet, Tungaturthi, and Devarakonda seats.
