Aakash Chopra, a former cricketer and commentator in the ongoing IPL, has tested positive for the virus. Chopra confirmed the news on Twitter, stating that he has mild symptoms and will be away from commentary duties for a few days. He also expressed his hope to come back stronger. This marks the first case of COVID-19 in IPL 2023. Meanwhile, India has reported 3,038 new coronavirus cases and an increase of 21,179 active cases, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday.
