On Saturday, the District Collector of Nagarkurnool, Badavath Santhosh, released a new handbook called “Public Health and Family Welfare.” The event took place in the Collector’s chamber.
During the event, the Collector praised the effort to create the handbook in Telugu. He highlighted its importance for medical and health staff, especially those working at primary health centers. This includes doctors, ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives), Asha workers, and supervisors.
According to the Collector, the handbook will be helpful in answering questions and improving healthcare services at the local level. It will support staff in their everyday work and help them provide better care.
The Collector also directed the District Medical and Health Officer, along with other officials, to make sure the handbook’s content reaches the grassroots level. He encouraged them to spread awareness about it.
Several officials, including District Medical and Health Officer Dr. K.V. Swarajya Lakshmi, DPO Renayya, AO Chari, O. Srinu, Jagan, and Parvathamma, were present at the event.
