To monitor the progress, District Collector Rajarshi Shah visited Raiguda and Kondapur Ponna villages in Sirikonda mandal on Thursday. During the visit, he observed the verification process for ration cards, the Rythu Bharosa scheme, and the Indiramma housing survey being conducted by officials.

The Collector instructed officials to prepare lists of eligible beneficiaries for welfare programs such as Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma houses, ration cards, and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa. These programs, implemented by the State government, are set to be launched on January 26.

The preliminary lists of eligible individuals will be presented in village councils (Gram Sabhas) on January 21 for approval. Once approved, the final list will be submitted to the Collector’s office. Under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme, eligible families will receive Rs. 12,000, with Rs. 6,000 provided as the first installment. Additionally, landless poor families will be given at least 20 days of work through the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.

For the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the Collector emphasized the need to identify beneficiaries based on lands suitable for cultivation. He directed agricultural officials to verify these details at the field level. Regarding ration cards, he stated that applicants’ annual income should not exceed Rs. 1.5 lakh in rural areas and Rs. 2 lakh in urban areas.

The Collector also noted that the housing survey under the Indiramma scheme is nearly complete in the district. Officials were advised to carefully review the lists of eligible persons and finalize them with the help of Ward Sabhas and Gram Sabhas. The final lists will then be submitted through the Mandal Parishad Development Officers’ login system to the Collector’s office.
