The district administration of Mahbubnagar is now focusing on general administration and sanitation works to prevent seasonal diseases as the rainy season approaches. District Collector G. Ravi Naik emphasized the importance of sanitation in villages and towns to prevent the spread of diseases, directing the cleaning of sewage canals.
After the busy schedule of the recent elections, Naik reviewed ongoing programs in a coordination meeting at the Integrated Collectorate office. He praised officials for completing the elections smoothly and directed the cleaning of school buildings used as polling stations.
Naik also instructed the swift transportation of paddy from procurement centers and completion of tab entries. He mandated repairs and provision of basic facilities in government schools under the Amma Aadarsha Pathashala scheme.
Other directives included resolving pending applications through the Dharani portal and addressing Prajavani applications within 15 days to avoid backlogs. Naik stressed regular watering of plants in village nature parks and instituted a monthly cleaning mandate for government offices.
He urged the completion of repairs in residential schools and hostels before they reopen, and emphasized providing work to job card holders under the Employment Guarantee Scheme. Officials were instructed to review staff attendance and ensure basic facilities in villages.
Officials like Additional Local Bodies Collector Shivendra Pratap and Additional Revenue Collector Mohan Rao participated in the meeting with Naik.
