On the last day of the Ganesh immersion processions, Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Avinash Mohanty, IPS, visited several immersion sites in the Shamshabad and Madhapur zones. He interacted with the Cyberabad Police staff on duty to ensure everything was running smoothly.

The Commissioner first visited Kamuni Cheruvu and Thondupally Cheruvu, which are within the Shamshabad Police Station limits. There, he instructed DCP B. Rajesh and other officials to ensure that the processions and the immersion of Ganesh idols were carried out without any issues.

Next, CP Avinash Mohanty visited the Madhapur zone. He inspected the Rayasamudram Cheruvu, located in the RC Puram Police Station limits, and Gangaram Cheruvu, located in the Chandanagar Police Station limits. Several officials, including DCP Madhapur Dr. Vineeth G, IPS, W&CSW DCP Srujana Karnam, and ADCP Madhapur Jayaram, accompanied him during these visits.

The Commissioner expressed his sincere thanks to the police officers, officials from various departments, members of the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi, and the public for their help in making the Ganesh immersion process successful. He noted that no major incidents had occurred, thanks to the teamwork of the Cyberabad Police and other agencies.

CP Mohanty highlighted that several organizations, including the GHMC, TSSPDCL, R&B, TRANSCO, Transport, Irrigation, Fire Services, and the Health Department, played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of the immersion process.

The Commissioner also acknowledged the important role played by the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS), media personnel, and the public in maintaining peace and harmony during the celebrations.

He added that the police department, along with other agencies, had planned and coordinated efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone involved. Special arrangements were made at the immersion sites to prevent any inconvenience to children, women, and the elderly. Additionally, efforts were made to provide a positive working environment for all employees, officials, and volunteers involved in the immersion process.
