    The first discussion in the Assembly on the Governor’s joint address became heated as the opposition and ruling party members argued. The opposition BRS criticized the ruling party for previous injustices and insulted former leaders. The ruling party asked for constructive criticism instead of personal attacks. The BRS even questioned the government’s longevity. The Chief Minister assured that the government would implement their promises and invited the opposition to discuss them. He criticized the BRS for not raising public issues and accused them of family rule. He suggested that the opposition focus on their own ten-year rule instead of the past.
