Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced new measures to address the city’s growing problems with pollution and traffic congestion. He emphasized the importance of tackling these issues and outlined innovative plans to improve traffic management while promoting inclusivity.
One of the key steps introduced is the appointment of transgenders as traffic assistants. “We have recommended utilizing transgenders as traffic assistants to tackle the city’s traffic woes effectively. Today, appointments have been given to 50 transgenders for this role,” said the Chief Minister. This initiative aims to not only improve traffic flow but also enhance workforce diversity in public services.
Additionally, the Chief Minister announced a significant welfare measure for the families of police officers.
