Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Extends Wishes on Pravasi Bharatiya Divas
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy sent his warm wishes to Indians worldwide on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. He highlighted the important role played by the overseas Indian community in the country’s development and their active involvement in the Telangana Rising initiative.
The Chief Minister also reflected on the historical importance of January 9. He reminded everyone that on this day in 1915, Mahatma Gandhi returned to India after gaining recognition as a lawyer in South Africa. Gandhi’s decision to dedicate his life to India’s independence movement remains a proud moment for all Indians.
Revanth Reddy emphasized that Telangana is an excellent destination for investments and innovative ideas from Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). He assured that the state government is committed to supporting Gulf-based workers and other NRIs through programs like “Pravasi Prajavani,” which aims to address their concerns effectively.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed the Telangana government’s appreciation for the contributions of NRIs. He expressed the state’s commitment to strengthening its ties with the Indian diaspora to drive progress and prosperity for all.
