CM Revanth Reddy Prays for People's Well-being at Wanaparthy Temple
Wanaparthy: Telangana Chief Minister Yanumula Revanth Reddy visited the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple on Sunday. He prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.
The Chief Minister was in Wanaparthy to lay the foundation stone for various development projects. Along with him, Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, Planning Commission Vice Chairman Chinna Reddy, Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi, and MLAs Megha Reddy, Madhusudhan Reddy, and Vakiti Srihari also visited the temple. The temple priests welcomed them with traditional rituals.
Earlier, the Chief Minister performed a Bhoomi Pooja for the temple’s development. The government allocated Rs. 1 crore for this purpose. As part of the rituals, silk clothes were offered to the deity. The temple priests also conducted special prayers, mentioning the names of devotees, and presented the Lord’s relics and a portrait to the Chief Minister.
The priests gave Vedic blessings to CM Revanth Reddy, ministers, and MLAs. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister assured that he would support the temple’s development. He also instructed officials to ensure that devotees do not face any difficulties.
Several local leaders, including Obedullah Kotwal, Sai Charan Reddy, Shiv Sena Reddy, and DCCB Chairman Vishnuvardhan Reddy, participated in the event.
