Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has strongly criticized the recent attacks on the homes of well-known film personalities in the city. He emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order and directed the Director General of Police (DGP) and the Commissioner of Police (CP) to act firmly to ensure public safety.
Revanth Reddy made it clear that there would be no tolerance for negligence in ensuring peace and security. Referring to the incident at Sandhya Theatre, he urged senior police officials to take strict action against those responsible. He also called for accountability from police personnel who failed to respond effectively during the incident.
“The safety and security of every individual, including members of the film industry, is a top priority,” the Chief Minister said. He stressed that immediate steps must be taken to restore public trust in the government’s ability to maintain law and order.
This statement comes amid growing concerns over rising violence in the city. Various groups have been urging the government to take quick and effective measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
