All slaughterhouses and meat and beef shops in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will be closed today to mark Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary. GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has requested the three police commissionerates under GHMC to instruct officers to cooperate with municipal staff in implementing the closure orders.
