At Shree Balaji Family Dhaba in Ganesh Nagar Colony, Vanasthalipuram, the officials found expired food items such as button mushrooms, tutti frutti, and preserved karonda. These items were discarded immediately.

Additionally, the food handlers at Shree Balaji Family Dhaba were not wearing aprons or uniforms. The raw food items were stored in unhygienic conditions inside the refrigerator.

There were no trash cans inside the kitchen, and the Food Business Operator (FBO) was using plastic bags to discard kitchen waste. Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records were unavailable. However, the premises had mesh fittings, and no infestation was observed.

In contrast, no violations were found at Hotel Sitara Grand.

So far, the task force has conducted raids at numerous restaurants, hotels, PGs, and supermarkets in Hyderabad. These inspections have revealed several irregularities, including hygiene issues and the use of expired products.
