The Telangana Anti-Narcotic Bureau (TSNAB) and Film Nagar police caught a Nigerian national involved in drug peddling in Hyderabad. The police seized 264 Ecstasy (M.D) Pills, two mobile phones, and other items worth Rs 10.56 Lakh from him.
The arrested person is Ogbaugu David Uka, also known as Pastor Davison or Iwu. He was previously involved in a case under the NDPS Act in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Ogbaugu David Uka is a key player in drug supply in Bangalore and also has connections with drug peddlers in Hyderabad. He frequently travels between the two cities.
In the past, seven drug peddlers were arrested in Hyderabad for getting drugs from Ogbaugu David Uka and selling them to consumers. He presents himself as a pastor and serves as the welfare chairman for the ALL INDIA NIGERIAN STUDENTS & COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION. He uses fake identity cards and a fake VISA to hide his true identity. He also obtains SIM cards using other people’s names for his criminal activities.
Based on a tip-off, the TSNAB and police apprehended him in Hyderabad while he was supplying Ecstasy Pills to his known peddlers. A case has been registered against him.
