Hyderabad: Minister of Cinematography, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, visited actor Sri Tej to check on his health and offer support to his family. He mentioned that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is closely monitoring the situation.
While addressing the media at the hospital, the Minister urged that the recent Sandhya Theatre tragedy should not be politicized. He reassured that the state government is committed to supporting the film industry in every possible way during such difficult times.
The Minister also condemned the attack on actor Allu Arjun’s residence by student JAC leaders on Sunday. He stated that such actions are unacceptable and warned that strict measures would be taken against those responsible for such incidents.
Sri Tej, who was injured in the stampede during the premiere of the film Pushpa-2 at Sandhya Theatre, remains in critical condition, according to the Minister.
