Nagarkurnool: On Monday, students from Shri Saraswati Shishu Mandir School celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying Rakhis to District Collector Badawat Santosh in his office.
The children also tied Rakhis to other officials from different departments. During the event, Collector Santosh warmly interacted with the students, asking about their studies and offering them words of encouragement. He also extended heartfelt Raksha Bandhan wishes to all the women in the district.
In his address, Collector Santosh emphasized the significance of Raksha Bandhan as a symbol of the bond between brothers and sisters. He highlighted the importance of brothers supporting their sisters in achieving both economic and social empowerment. He encouraged everyone to celebrate the festival as a symbol of unity among loved ones.
The event was also attended by Forest Officer Rohit Gopidi, DEO Govindarajulu, Saraswati Shishu Mandir School Principal Prasanna Lakshmi, along with teachers and students.
