Chief Minister Inaugurates Nursing and Paramedical Colleges in Telangana
State Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated several healthcare and educational facilities across Telangana on Monday through a virtual ceremony held in Hyderabad. The new initiatives include 16 nursing colleges, 213 (108) ambulances, and 28 paramedical colleges aimed at improving healthcare access and education in the state.
In Wanaparthy district, District Collector Adarsh Surabhi, along with medical students, gathered at the District Medical College to watch the virtual event. The local community celebrated the addition of these facilities, which are expected to strengthen healthcare services in the region.
During the event, Chinna Reddy announced that one of the 28 new paramedical colleges has been allocated to Wanaparthy district. He mentioned that classes have already commenced in the medical college.
Medical College Principal Dr. Sunandini shared further details, stating that 10 students have enrolled in the ECG section of the paramedical course, while 28 students have joined the anesthesia course. Classes for these programs began on Monday, marking a significant step toward enhancing medical education in the district.
