Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently performed ‘Bhumi Puja’ for the Young India Skill University in Kandukuru Mandal, Rangareddy district.
Revanth Reddy announced that NetZero City in Kandukur mandal of Ranga Reddy will surpass the development of New York, Singapore, and Dubai in the next four years. The new city will have a Metro Rail link to Hyderabad and a 200-feet road connecting the airport. Land acquisition for the airport road is already in progress.
During the event, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation for several upcoming facilities. These include an Advanced Technology Centre, a Modern School, a Primary Health Centre, and Community Centres.
Revanth Reddy highlighted the rapid changes happening in Hyderabad. He mentioned that the new city has plans for a night safari. An urban forest spanning thousands of acres near Amangal and Kadtal is being developed for this purpose.
He confidently stated that the new city will be more advanced than New York, backed by thousands of crores in investment. His remarks were met with cheers from locals at Begari Kancha, the venue of the public meeting.
The Chief Minister also spoke about the historical development of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. He noted that the new city will be the fourth major development, providing connectivity to the airport.
Regarding the Skills University, the Chief Minister assured that the three to six months certificate courses offered will guarantee employment. He emphasized that students trained at this university will not face employment issues.
Earlier in the day, the Young India Skills University (Public Private Partnership) Bill 2024 was passed in the Assembly.
